Wildfire Mitigation

Fires within mountain communities are a constant threat. Each homeowner should be knowledgeable of the risks and take steps to mitigate that risk on their property for the benefit of the entire community. Over the years, the District has worked to remove overgrowth in open space and along roads to assure residents can safely evacuate should the need arise.
